How to remove tape from window glass?
If the tape has stayed on the glass for long, it may be rather difficult to clean. In such cases try saturating with salad oil or event mayonnaise.
Window cleaning
You could make your own window cleaning spray by mixing a bottle of water with 3 soup spoons of vinegar. Once you have cleaned the windows, dry them off using old newspapers.
How to remove soap build-up and odours from the dishwasher?
Try pouring a cup of white distilled vinegar inside the empty machine and then running it through a whole cycle. Best if done once a month.
How to clean a tea kettle from lime deposits?
Fill the kettle with clean water, then add 1/2 cup white distilled vinegar, stir and let it stay overnight. If more drastic action is required, boil white distilled vinegar in the kettle a few minutes, let cool and rinse with plain water.
Tips for cleaning the refrigerator
Shelves and walls of the refrigerator could be cleaned by making a natural solution of ½ water and ½ white distilled vinegar.
How to get rid of ants?
Try spraying white distilled vinegar outside doorways and windowsills, around appliances and wherever you see the ants coming in.
Cleaning of kitchen working tops
You can clean them with a cloth soaked in white distilled vinegar to bring back the fresh odour.
Cleaning crayon from walls
To remove crayon marks from walls sprinkle baking soda on a damp cloth, then rub gently. The baking soda should be gentle enough for most wall coverings, including paint and wallpaper.
Blocked drain
In cases when drain is partly blocked and water drains very slowly, run some hot water through the slow drain, then pour a couple of cups of vinegar. Put about a quarter cup of baking soda into the drain and follow with another cup or so of vinegar. Let it sit for at least 10minutes before you flush with hot water.
